About Titivillus
The name comes from the mischievous margin-imp of manuscript lore, but the shop itself is grounded in the opposite instinct: care, accuracy, and respect for materials.
Titivillus is being built as a small independent art supply shop for Lethbridge and southern Alberta. The point is not to imitate a chain or out-scale an online warehouse. The point is to offer a local counter where good paper, dependable colour, and practical studio supplies can be chosen with some confidence.
We are building around the needs we see repeatedly: printmaking paper you want to touch before you buy, restocks that should not require a highway trip, student supply lists that need sane local options, and workshop materials that arrive on time.
Lethbridge’s artists, teachers, students, and independent studios deserve a supply source that treats materials as part of the work, not just inventory. Titivillus is not formally affiliated with the University of Lethbridge; we simply hope to be a useful neighbour to the city’s broader arts community.
